Brentwood Youth Soccer Club cordially invites you and your teams to participate in our 22nd Annual Columbus Day Weekend Travel Tournament.  We plan to provide you with a fun-filled and competitive weekend that will surely be a rewarding experience for everyone involved.   Games will be going on all day at Brentwood State Park Soccer Complex.  This tournament is sanctioned by ENYYSA and LIJSL.


Eligibility:  This event is open to all club teams currently and properly registered with their respective state soccer associations or with the USSF, or with the National Association.  At this time, we are not accepted  Premier or LIJSL Select Teams.   There is a maximum of 18 players per roster playing 11v11 and (3) guest players will be allowed in compliance with your league rules.  Note:  U10 will have a roster size of 14 players and will be playing 8v8.  U11 will have a roster size of 15 and will be playing 9v9.


Division:  We are offering the following age groups for boys and girls with Major and Minor divisions where possible.


U-19 born on or after August 1, 1984                       U-13 born on or after August 1, 1990

U-16 born on or after August 1, 1987                       U-12 born on or after August 1, 1991

U-15 born on or after August 1, 1988                       U-11 born on or after August 1, 1992

U-14 born on or after August 1, 1989                       U-10 born on or after August 1, 1993


All teams will play 5 games over the weekend in a round robin format.  Each game will consist of (2) 25-minute halves.  U15 through U19 who will play (2) 30-minute halves with three (3) Men Referee System Saturday and Sunday ONLY due to school sport obligations.  All games will be played at the Brentwood State Park Soccer Fields in Brentwood (Formerly Pilgrim State Soccer Park).


Awards: Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams in all 6 team divisions. This is a patch exchange tournament.  PROFESSIONAL CLINIC SWEEPSTAKES: NEW As an added bonus, we are giving all teams registered in our tournament a chance to win free professional clinics.  Tickets will be distributed at registration night.


Entry Fee: The fee for this tournament is $350 per team.  U10 will pay $325 per team.  Please make all checks payable to Brentwood Youth Soccer Club and send with team application and roster by September 25th, 2003.  Application will NOT be considered without a check or money order covering the entry fee.  Any team that withdraws from the tournament after being accepted will forfeit their entry fee.  Teams not accepted will have their entry fee refunded. 


Registration:  Player registration cards (passes) will be required as proof of age, along with a final copy of the roster, a permission to travel form for all out of state teams and medical releases for all players to be handed in at registration.


Registration and complimentary coaches’ buffet will take place on Friday, October 10, 2003 from 7-9PM at the Sonderling High School in Brentwood.  Local hotel accommodations are available for out-of-state teams.
